About Camp Creek

From a small storefront to a growing online retailer

We sell everyday goods — home essentials, apparel basics, and gift items — through our online store, and we run the entire operation with a small, distributed team.

Our story

Camp Creek started as a single small shop focused on well-made, practical products at fair prices. As more of our customers moved to shopping online, we rebuilt the business around our website and shipping network — and kept the same standard: get the details right, every order, every time.

Today that means a lot of behind-the-scenes work: processing orders accurately, keeping product listings clean and up to date, and making sure inventory numbers match what's actually on the shelf. Rather than hire a large in-house office, we've built a remote operations team — people working from home, across different countries and time zones, who keep the store running smoothly.

How remote work works here

Every operations role is fully remote. You'll work a consistent shift with your team lead, using cloud-based tools for orders, catalog, and inventory — no special software to buy, no office to commute to. New hires go through a structured onboarding period before taking on a full workload, and a manager is available for questions throughout your shift.

01

Accuracy first

An order shipped to the wrong address or a listing with the wrong price costs real money and a real customer's trust — so we train for precision from day one.

02

Clear communication

Written processes, regular check-ins, and a manager who responds — so you always know what "done" looks like for your queue.

03

Growth from within

We'd rather promote someone who already knows our systems than hire from outside — most of our team leads started in an entry-level operations role.

04

Global by design

Our operations team includes people working remotely from Pakistan, Egypt, and several other countries, covering shifts around the clock.

Where we've been

Early years

Camp Creek opens as a small independent retail shop selling home and lifestyle goods.

Growth phase

The online store becomes the primary sales channel; order volume outgrows a single local team.

Building remote ops

We hire our first remote Order Processing and Inventory staff to keep pace with demand.

Today

A 60-plus person distributed operations team supports catalog, inventory, and order processing across multiple time zones — and we're still hiring.
